Since July 14, the second phase of the Los Sabelotodos Cerveceros contest commenced, where 69,994 shopkeepers will respond to multiple-choice tests.
At the end of the first phase last June 30, the contest organization received a total of 105.508 applications of shopkeepers who submitted the crossword puzzles included in the May edition of the Don Próspero magazine; a commercial publication of the Company.
In the first fortnight of June, the requirements contained in the Los Sabelotodos Cerveceros regulations were verified by the auditing firm PriceWaterHouseCoopers, which established that 69,994 shopkeepers were fit to continue to the second phase.
This new stage includes a multiple-choice test. A contest representative will visit the commercial establishment to notify the shopkeeper his participation in the second phase of Los Sabelotodos Cerveceros and will deliver the test. Within the next eight days, which is also the term that the shopkeeper has to solve it, the representative will go back to pick up the test. The last tests will be collected by July 31.
Then, the 69,994 shopkeepers will receive a letter with the score obtained in the test. The top 5.000 scores will receive a diploma that will certify them as “Los Sabelotodos Cerveceros”, whereas the top 500 will be eligible to be classified as Bavaria’s Tapa Dorada clients.
The top 50 multiple-choice test scores will classify to the finals, where more than 180 million pesos worth in prizes will be given. The event will take place in Bogotá, on August 30, within the framework of the National Shopkeeper Day. |
