Stemming from the decision of the government to raise the Sales Tax/VAT for beer from 3% to 14%, effective from February 1, 2010, Bavaria has adjusted the suggested consumer prices, increasing them by 100 pesos.
This adjustment, announced by the company at the end of last month, contemplates a 8.3% increase in the price of the brands (Águila, Póker, Pilsen y Costeña) from COL$1.200 to COL$1.300.
