Founded on September 14th, 1956 as a unit of the company Malterías Unidas. In 1997, Malterías Unidas was absorbed by Malterías de Colombia, and on November 29th, 2002, the Special General Shareholders' Assembly approved the merger process through absorption, to become a producing company of Bavaria.
